The experience we had at this hotel was wonderful, everybody was helpful and super friendly. The location was the best for a hotel outside of Disney, we had a room that had view of dowtown disney. The only negatives would be that parking is $* a day depending on self park or valet. The other thing was that I was asked for a tip from two different employees, which should have never happened. You can actually take free transportation to and from the parks, busses are on a 30 minute schedule. The food at downtown disney was priced a bit high but not a big deal since you are in a resort area. I am going back to disney next year and will stay at this hotel again.

If you're looking to go experience Disney World, I would NOT recommend this hotel. It's very close to Downtown Disney (which is a plus, and probably why they make the claim that it's "on property") but it's not very convienient to get to the parks. They have bus service, but it's ALWAYS late, and makes quite a bit of stops before you finally get to the parks. It took about 1 hour time to get to the parks! Let's not even talk about waiting to get picked up from the park. You'll wait forever. You could always take one of the official Disney busses (that are ALWAYS around) to Downtown Disney, then walk to this Hilton. But I would recommend staying at one of the official Disney Resorts. BTW, you do get the Magic Hours when staying at the Hilton, but you might have to wait over an hour for the bus to pick you up!

This is a good hotel for the money. Very clean and everyone is very helpful. Just a few bits of advice... If you have kids, bring a portable DVD player. Not much for kids on the tv there. Make sure you know of the daily incidental charges. We were not aware of this and the hotel charged us up front. Keep alot of change and cash on you...nothing is free at this hotel. Was close to alot of places including Downtown Disney. Also liked the shuttles to the Disney parks.

We had 2 rooms at the beginning of August '09 and had 3 young adults (in their 20's) with my husband and me. We've stayed at many of the Disney hotels on past visits, so we were a bit curious about the Hilton. The entire hotel was beautiful, super clean, staff very accomodating. We were on the 9th floor and could see all the way to the Contemporary from our room. we had just booked only 10 days ahead of our travel date. This hotel also enables you access to the Disney parks extra hours. We had a car and paid $8 a day for parking, but that was the only extra we paid for at the hotel. The hotel is so close to the Marketplace, you only need to walk across the street. We would definitely stay here again.

Although I was aware of the parking cost for my vehicle, the parking was so confusing with very little spaces available when I arrived I decided to bite the bullet and pay for valet parking. I wasn't, however, prepared to pay that same amount every day for my entire stay even though the valets never had to touch my car again until I was ready to check out. In addition, although convenient to Downtown Disney, getting to and from the Disney Parks was not as easy as it is made out to be. Once in one of the parks, we had to figure out how to get back to this hotel which was accomplished by taking a bus to one of the other Disney resorts, then changing buses to Downtown Disney, then walking across a busy road to the hotel. In all, it took us over two hours to get back to our hotel when it would have only taken us approximately 30 minutes with busy traffic if we had taken our own vehicle.
