The double tree front desk service was great. On the other hand the service in the resturant in the hotel was the worst!!! The rooms were very large but seemed liked they needed to be updated. Beds were uncomfortable. The room we stayed in had 2 tvs each of them recieved totally diffrent channels. Walls were thin enough to hear other people flushing their toliets.gross. Half of the games in the "game room" didnt work. Dont think we will be staying there again.

The Doubletree Guest Suites at Downtown Disney never disappoints.......UNTIL NOW! This was my 4th time staying at this resort and I must say the rooms are UNBEATABLE. The size of the suites is why I keep coming back. However they have now recently added parking gates in the parking lot and charge guests $8.00 a day to self park. I think this is ridiculous! I enjoyed the fact that i had prepaid for my hotel on travelocity. I took comfort in knowing that was one less expense to pay for when i arrived. However now they charge this rate for parking so i still had to provide a credit card and was charged when i ckecked out. Thsi seems petty to me. Gustes staying here mow feel like their being nickel and dimed for every red cent that the hotel can get outta you. Not to mention how outrageously overpriced food items are inside the hotel store. Food is cheaper inside disney parks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were a traveling group of 3 women to Disney, we chose this hotel because it has a shuttle to the parks. The shuttle was very reliable and it drop us from door to door. The hotel was very clean and if we needed something we got it promptly. The restaurant was just OK the food was kind of expensive for what you got and the service was slow but the food was tastey. We would stay at this hotel it was one of the best we have stayed in.

My girls and I went to Disney World on Superbowl weekend 2009. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. We arrived 45 mins early and they offered to check if our room was ready-it was! Later, we got a few dinner recommendations from the Concierge and off we went to Downtown Disney. The best part of our stay were the heavenly beds- especially after all that walking. Everytime we saw an employee they always greeted us warmly. Free shuttle was super. The Housekeeping staff did a great job with our room each day. My daughters loved the warm chocolate chips cookies. I loved the fact that when we were in our room it did not feel like we got in each others way. We will absolutely stay at this Hotel again. We did not use the pool or tennis courts so I don't know anyhting about those things.
